The Polar Bears extended their win streak to 4 games after lambasting the Connecticut Chiefs 12-1 on Sunday, pushing their overall season record to 7-3 after 10 games. The defense was smothering once again, not giving the Chiefs any quality scoring opportunities. The D was complimented by exceptional puck movement and an aggressive offensive push which was highlighted by Braden Myers (#1) and Nate Stusvick (#96) both registering hat tricks, Steven Nielsen (#97) scoring twice and goals from Max Koehler (#72), Jackson Halvorsen (#61), Hudson MacFarlane (#7) and Jacob Slifstein (#18). The team is hitting their stride going into next Sunday’s showdown with interstate rival, Pelham.
